Jan 14, 2024 · In this article, I’m going to share 52 short Bible verses that you can memorize over the next year, categorized by topic. Ideally, you could set a goal to memorize one verse per week and finish in a year.
You can download this free PDF of 1,000 Bible verses, organized into 23 different categories. Of course, you don’t need to memorize all of these. But, filling your mind with the Word and God’s promises is powerful and will fill you with faith– which comes from hearing God’s Word.
The practice of memorization weaves a passage into every aspect of our lives. It helps us wade into scripture and soak in the words of God until they become a part of us and shape us into the kind of people who know God and put His teaching into practice.
