Justice Brian Hoyle. Justice Brian Hoyle is a life-long Texan who was born in Arlington and raised in Mansfield. He graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1991. Justice Hoyle received his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 1994.

The Twelfth Court of Appeals consists of Chief Justice James T. Worthen and two justices: Greg Neeley and Brian Hoyle. From 1999 through 2002, Chief Justice Worthen served the State of Texas as a justice on the 12th Court of Appeals in Tyler. James T. Worthen became chief justice in 2003.
