A gang of convicts has escaped from prison, but Capt. Rynning's can't get any more men to help capture them.
Rynning and Travis investigate when a number of women are murdered in a small Arizona town. Since the circumstances surrounding each murder are identical, the rangers fear that they are trying to capture a psychopathic misogynist.
