Mar 3, 2024 · CORDOVA, Tenn. — Bellevue Baptist Church pastor Steve Gaines reported major improvements with his cancer in a video posted Friday. In November 2023, Gaines shared with his congregation that he had been diagnosed with kidney cancer, then in December shared that the cancer had spread to his lungs.
Oct 9, 2023 · The Bellevue Baptist Church community is mourning the death of pastor Tim Shelton, who died suddenly on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 53. He is survived by his wife, Susan, and their five sons.
Dr. Steve Gaines, Bellevue’s Senior Pastor, is known as a man of prayer and a preacher of God’s Word. Since 1983, he has pastored churches in Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama, and he became Senior Pastor of Bellevue in 2005.
