Make sure you take a walk on the state dock in East Tawas, consider canoing on the Rifle or the AuSable River, certainly drive out to the Lumberman's Monument and see the nice little museum featuring the CCC there, then drive along the AuSable back toward Oscoda and walk down the stairs to the springs.
