UTRGV Baseball Stadium, originally Edinburg Stadium, is a stadium in Edinburg, Texas, United States. It is primarily used for baseball and is the home of the UTRGV Vaqueros of college baseball.
Dec 20, 2011 · Located on the northwest corner of campus, UTRGV Baseball Stadium opened its gates in 2001 as Edinburg Baseball Stadium. UTRGV began playing at the Stadium in 2002. Its dimensions of 325-380-410-380-325 allow for a spacious outfield and a pitcher friendly environment on natural grass.
May 6, 2022 · The city of Edinburg donated the formerly eponymously named Edinburg Stadium – home of the Broncs and of the minor league Edinburg Roadrunners – to UTRGV in time for the 2014 season. It was renamed UTRGV Baseball Stadium in 2016, when the first of a series of renovations began.

The park was once home to the Edinburg Roadrunners, an independent minor league baseball team, though they did not have their debut game until 2002. “It’s gonna be the best stadium in the conference,” Matlock said.
