Dec 31, 2022 · Jimmy Dorsey was a member of Jean Goldkette’s Orchestra during part of 1924 and that year also recorded with the Varsity Eight, the California Ramblers, and the Goofus Five. Those associations got the 20-year old’s career off and running.
