Aug 12, 2020 · Lisa Arturo is a dog expert, animal activist, rescue warrior, and pet matchmaker. Her passion to make a difference in the lives of the voiceless is unstoppable. Lisa grew up in Clifton, NJ, and soon moved to Manhattan, where she pursued a career in dance and acting.
Big Love Animal Rescue was founded in Valley Village, CA in May of 2019 by Lisa Arturo who has a love of dogs. She had a desire to help those dogs that found themselves lost, abandoned, neglected or mistreated and through no fault of their own were without a family and a loving home.

Many of you asked about yesterday's NEW rescue video, so I wanted to clarify: after their owner passed away, his family cleared the house, threw the dogs out to the street, and that was the end of that chapter.
