    • Nature is at your doorstep. Can you imagine forests, lakes, canyons, waterfalls and ocean beaches within city limits? Vancouver has all of them!
    • Coastal city. Coastal cities easily knock me off my feet, because I’m in love with the ocean. The endless blue horizon and the music of the waves make me happy and calm, and taking a walk on the coast is an instant cure to any stress or bad mood.
    • Residential areas are quiet. North America, both the USA and Canada, is probably the most car-focused part of the world, and I don’t think it’s a good thing.
    • Recreational opportunities. I’ve already praised Vancouver’s natural attractions and how accessible they are to the residents, but there’s more.
    • PRO: Proximity to Mountains and Ocean. Have you ever wondered if it’s better to live by the ocean or by the mountains? Well, in Vancouver, you don’t have to worry about this dilemma because it’s one of those rare places in the world that have both – easy access to beaches and mountains.
    • PRO: World-Class Skiing at Your Fingertips. Skiing and snowboarding are among the most popular winter activities for locals. Vancouver is near the world-renowned ski resorts – Whistler and Blackcomb.
    • PRO: Mild Winters. Vancouver’s weather rocks by Canadian standards. The climate here is pretty mild. It never gets too hot or too cold. Suppose you’re not a big fan of cold winters.
    • PRO: Epic Food Scene. If you love food, then Vancouver is the right place for you. One of the best things about living in Vancouver is the food scene and the variety of cuisines.
