March of the Oni is the tenth season of the animated television series Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu (titled Ninjago from the eleventh season onward). The series was created by Michael Hegner and Tommy Andreasen. The season aired on April 19, 2019, following the ninth season, Hunted.
Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu: March of the Oni. Darkness and destruction descends upon Ninjago City; with all hope seemingly lost, the ninja must find a way to fight off the invading Oni.
Thousands of years later, the First Spinjitzu Master's son, Garmadon, would inherit his Oni blood from his father. Once awakened, the blood that flowed through his veins would turn him into a megalomaniacal monster, bent on conquering Ninjago.
The Darkness Comes. As NINJAGO City rebuilds, Faith arrives with a dire warning: the Oni have returned and are destroying the realms, one by one. NINJAGO must prepare, and Lloyd must face the possibility that to defeat this foe, he may need the help of another enemy.
