Mapquest classic used to show only the simple map of the world with some feature like getting the directions to towards the place you want to visit. It was the only feature of mapquest driving directions which was helping people a lot.

Jan 20, 2020 · Mapquest started in 1996 which was the same year I started using a GPS with my laptop. However, I still printed out directions. The laptop/GPS was too much work for short trips, only worth the effort for long trips. Mapquest was used for trips about town.
