Since 2024, the group consists of Duane Allen (lead vocals), Ben James (tenor vocals), William Lee Golden (baritone vocals), and Richard Sterban (bass vocals). The group was founded in 1943 as the Oak Ridge Quartet. They became popular in Southern gospel during the 1950s.
Most recently Cummings has collaborated with Tywanna Jo Basquette and Baby Stout, lending creepy Southern Gothic guitars that are reflective of the direction his own music takes. His new album is called Another Round of Dreams.
