This park was awesome. The beach was nice and clean. It wasn’t too crowded. There were nice picnic shelters and a cool restaurant/snack bar. The showers and changing area were convenient. We had fun on the beach volleyball court and playground. I highly recommend it!

However, that doesn’t mean the island doesn’t run on island time! One of my favorite quotes from our visits to Pine Island is, “What happens at the beach…stays at the beach.”.

Mr. McKethan was influential in the improvements made to what is now Cortez Boulevard, and the only road onto the island: Pine Island Drive.
Cute little beach with palm trees and great place to grab a cute lunch if you don’t pack one. Not many beaches in Spring Hill and glad our friends told us about this. You pay 5.00 for the day to park but if it fills up they will turn you away.
