Coach Barn. Designed by architect Albert A. Bennett, as was the Queen Anne Cottage, the Baldwin Coach Barn is an equally ornate example of Victorian extravagance. Alternating slats of interior cedar and redwood paneling and original iron grillwork, cast by Savage and Son of San Francisco in 1879, contribute to the feeling of opulence.

Feb 11, 2020 · E. J. “Lucky” Baldwin’s Queen Anne Cottage and adjacent Coach Barn, on the grounds of the LA County Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in Arcadia, were built in 1885/86. It is speculated that he built the cottage for his new 16 year old bride Lillie, daughter of the architect Albert Bennett.
