The Road Home Dane County provides opportunities for homeless children and their families to achieve self-determined goals and affordable, stable housing.
The Rapid Rehousing program is a collaborative effort between three agencies who work with homeless individuals and families: The Salvation Army, The Road Home, and the YWCA- Madison. The project is funded through a grant written and administered by the United Way of Dane County.

At The Road Home, we seek long-term solutions to homelessness by helping families find and maintain stable, affordable housing. Not only do we help families locate existing housing in the community, we also partner with others to create new, affordable housing.
The Road Home provides emergency shelter, supportive services, and housing assistance that help individuals and families step out of homelessness.
Healing House is administered through JustDane with case management provided by The Road Home. The Road Home Dane County’s case workers are available to assist families to relieve the immediate crisis of homelessness and achieve long-term success.
