Aug 5, 2024 · The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), India began its bi-monthly two-week online short-term internship programme for August, 2024 today. About 100 university-level students from different academic backgrounds shortlisted from over 1,300 applicants have been selected.
During the internship, the students are exposed to the functioning of various divisions of the Commission. They are also made aware of the process of complaints being attended to by the Commission as well as other issues being taken up.
