S6.E1 ∙ The Witness Killings. While attending a reunion in his home town, Matlock gets embroiled in a murder case in which a young man is framed for the murder of another home-town boy who was writing a tell all tome about some of the town's prominent citizens.
Matlock aired a total of 193 episodes across nine seasons and began with a TV-movie. 12 two-hour and 15 two-part episodes of the program were aired. Six of the episodes were clip shows with mostly minor plots that paved the way for scenes from previous stories.
