    Agents are the playable characters in VALORANT, representing an agent of the VALORANT Protocol. Each agent serves as a different class with four abilities.

    Five agents are immediately available for players to use; Brimstone, Jett, Phoenix, Sage, and Sova.

    Agents can be unlocked through the following methods:

    •Permanently:

    •One agent for  1,000 or  8,000 in Agent Store

    •During Agent Recruitment Event which lasts for four weeks from the Agent's launch, when the player accumulate 200,000 XP during the event duration, the Agent is unlocked for free

    •Use of Kingdom Credits is disabled when Agent Recruitment Event is active

    •The height of all agents in game is set to 1.96 meters.

    •The in-game heights of the agents have to be kept the same so that no agent's height has an advantage over others, but the canon heights of the agents has been shared by the game's Creative Director.

    • Jett (Duelist) Drift (Passive) – Jett hovers in the air while holding jump. While drifting down from any height, Jett does not take any damage. She can also glide from one place to another, thanks to Drift.
    • Phoenix (Duelist) Heating up (Passive) – Phoenix benefits from his fire-producing abilities that cause damage to others. Heals up to 50 HP every time he stands in his fire.
    • Brimstone (Controller) Incendiary (Q) – Brimstone takes out the Incendiary launcher and throws a grenade, which detonates after a short delay into a pile of fire.
    • Sova (Initiator) Shock bolt (Q) – Bring out an arrow charged with electricity. Shoot it in a direction until it comes in contact with any surface, object, or enemy.
    • Phoenix. Hot Hands (E) – Throw a fireball that explodes after a short delay on impact with the ground. The fire zone damages enemies but heals Phoenix. Blaze (C) – Cast a flame wall that blocks enemy vision and damages anyone passing through it.
    • Raze. Paint Shells (E) – Cluster grenade that deals initial impact damage, followed by damage from the clusters. Boom Bot (C) – Set down an explosive robot that goes in a straight line, bouncing off walls until it detects an enemy in front of it.
    • Brimstone. Sky Smoke (E) – Use your map to call in smokescreens that obscure vision, click to set the locations, and confirm to launch. Stim Beacon (C) – Target a nearby location to call in the beacon, giving all players near the beacon rapid-fire.
    • Jett. Tailwind (E) – Dash a short distance. Cloudburst (C) – Throw a cloud of fog that obscures vision on impact. Updraft (Q) – Launch upwards after a brief delay.
