The Franklin Park Zoo is a 72-acre (290,000 m 2) zoo located in Boston, Massachusetts and is currently operated by Zoo New England, which also operates the Stone Zoo in Stoneham, Massachusetts. The zoo is located in the northeast portion of Franklin Park, Boston's largest park and the last component of the city's famed Emerald Necklace.
At Franklin Park Zoo, guests will discover more than 50 species of animals, including mammals, reptiles, birds and amphibians. At Nature's Neighborhoods, the award-winning Children's Zoo, get up close with the prairie dogs and climb atop the Eagle's Nest for a bird's eye view of the Zoo.
