Apr 15, 2024 · David A. Kessler. David A. Kessler, M.D., served as commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration under presidents George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton. He has been dean of the medical schools at Yale and the University of California, San Francisco and is a professor of pediatrics and epidemiology and biostatistics at UCSF.
He worked for over a decade in a three-hospital system. He was trained for bio -terrorists’ events as well as epidemics/ pandemics.
