All weekend ferry runs before 11:30 AM are free, otherwise round trip ferry service to Governors Island costs $2 for adults, $1 for seniors, children under 12 ride the ferry for free at all times. Many of the things to do on Governors Island are completely free, including the ferry ride to get there!
May 24, 2023 · Fishing is permitted on Governors Island in the designated area along the western promenade. Fishing is catch and release ONLY. Drones and other unmanned aircraft are not allowed on any part Governors Island including National Park Service and Governors Island Trust property.
