Jun 7, 2023 · The city and CMLC are moving ahead with a plan to revamp one of Calgary's most iconic landmarks, next to City Hall and the Arts Commons. The project will consider the heritage and history of the plaza, which was a focal point of the 1988 Winter Games and a destination for celebrations. Construction is expected to start in 2026.
