Joshua writes at the intersections of spooky, funny and sad, YA and adult, high brow and low brow, kitschy and earnest. He loves punk rock, interior design, Southern food, b-movies, literary fiction, and art films. His taste is extremely queer and his writing runs the gamut. He is the co-host of the weekly arthouse horror podcast Bloodhaus.
Biography. Joshua Conkel is a playwright, director, and occasional performer. He is the current Artistic Director of The Management, a theater company in downtown New York, and a member of Youngblood, EST's collective of playwrights under thirty. Mr. Conkel's work has been seen in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Baton Rouge.
