David Maxwell Middleton (born 4 August 1946) is an English composer and keyboardist. Trained as a classical pianist, Middleton also had a strong affinity for jazz. [1] He is known for his work on the Fender Rhodes electric piano and the Minimoog synthesiser, and for his percussive playing style on the Hohner Clavinet.

Max Middleton. Keyboard player. Born 4. August 1946 in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England. Collaborated in lots of recordings including Jeff Beck, The Bee Gees, Peter Frampton, Chris Rea, and worked with the producer George Martin on the film soundtrack of Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
The original line-up included members of the second Jeff Beck Group, vocalist and guitarist Bobby Tench, keyboardist Max Middleton, bassist Clive Chaman, drummer Conrad Isidore and second guitarist Bernie Holland.
