Michaela Dorfmeister (born 25 March 1973) is an Austrian former alpine ski racer who competed in the Olympic Games and World Cup.Her specialities were both the downhill and the super-G disciplines, although she skied in and had success in giant slalom.
Michaela was the first woman to win the double in the speed events in Alpine skiing, downhill and super-G, since the introduction of the super-G on the Games programme in 1988. Dorfmeister first participated in the Olympic Games in Nagano in 1998, taking a silver medal in the super-G event. She lost out on the gold by one hundredth of a second.

Aug 31, 2018 · The following four years rewarded Dorfmeister with further success, only once slipping out of the overall top five, and claiming the individual titles for downhill in 2003, the super-G in 2005 and both in 2006.
Michaela needed a long time to confirm this success and win another important race. In 1997 and 1998 “Dorfi” was quite confused in her mind and she could not put her acts together except at the Olympics at Nagano where she came in 2nd in Super-G, only a 1/100 behind America’s Picabo Street.
