  8. The film features good performances from a very good cast. 'Dark night of the Scarecrow' has a good script that doesn't rely on guts, gore and blood to keep the viewer engaged. Some horror buffs might be disappointed by the lack of appearance by the Scarecrow (or Bubba), but I actually enjoyed the fact they didn't show everything.
