Sep 28, 2022 · Since its launch, ConnectU, according to Vodacom, has given a zero rating to more than 770 organizations and 1400 URLs, including the national departments of education, home affairs, and health.
In certain instances the users of your website may not be able to click through from Vodacom connectU to zero-rated URLs but they will still be granted free access to the URLs at no further data cost. You must maintain a minimum uptime of 97% (ninety seven percent) for your website on a monthly basis.
Our performance was also impacted by launching ConnectU, a platform to provide free access to basic internet and essential services, and significantly reducing data packages for more than 2 000 low-income suburbs across South Africa. To date, 15.5 million unique users have visited the ConnectU platform, with 20 million sessions per month.
