  3. It is very emotional much of the time, but not necessarily depressing, as many of the most emotional moments are happy or bittersweet. It has very sad moments but it's not depressing to me. Specifically clannad after story is the sad part but yes.

  4. The second half of season 2 of clannad is sad. I'm super sensitive to emotional shows and I sobbed nearly all the way through the very first arc of the show before I dropped it because I couldn't handle the feels. So, a "normal" person might not find it as sad, but I'd still count it as sad.

  5. It's the saddest anime I've ever seen, and probably just the saddest thing in general. I've seen Your Lie in April and Anohana which were both incredibly sad, but Clannad has them both beat, IMO. This is eerily similar to my experience with the show as well.
