The beach can be found at the end of a short (300-400ft) trail through the woods. I would HIGHLY recommend bringing enough water and a water bowl for your pup.

   Is Matapeake Beach Open during the summer?

   • The beach is open sunrise to sunset daily. We are no longer renting Matapeake Beach and Clubhouse for weddings and special events during the summer months. This allows our beach goers to enjoy this park during its normal hours at their convenience. If you are interested in renting during off-season please contact our office at 410-758-0835.

   Is Bay Bridge Dog Beach a good place?

   • We will definitely be returning when the weather warms up. This is a small off-leash dog beach located just past Bay Bridge. Parking is easy. Overall I liked it as a decent space for my dog to enjoy the beach, but it is not an impressive beach by any means. It's pretty small, sand with lots of debris, and water doesn't seem particularly clean.
