Richard Tocchet ( / tɔːkət / TAW-kət; born April 9, 1964) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player who is the head coach for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the sixth round, 121st overall, by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft.
