Susan Margaret Collins (born December 7, 1952) is an American politician serving as the senior United States senator from Maine, a seat she has held since 1997. She is a member of the Republican Party. Born in Caribou, Maine, Collins is a graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York.

Susan Margaret Collins is a Senator of the United States from Maine. She is a moderate in the Republican Party. Collins was elected to the Senate in 1996. The Senator was born December 7, 1952. On February 13, 2021 Collins voted that no longer Republican President Donald Trump was guilty of starting the 2021 storming of the United States Capitol.
