This page contains the Walkthrough for Day 79 of Firewatch.
After the wave receiver starts beeping, leave your lookout tower and follow the signal. It will lead you east, towards Jonesy lake.
Rappel down the steep shale slide, then follow the signal around the corner to the base of the tall rock formation. There will be an item waiting for you.
Inspect the tracking collar and collect the tape, then climb up the ropes that have been left for you while it plays.
Make your way up the trail from the top of the rock face, and interact with the fallen trail sign to enter the hideout and radio Delilah.
Now Henry needs to hike towards the Thoroughfare lookout tower, where Delilah’s tower and an evac helicopter are waiting. There are a few paths to choose from, but we recommend hiking around the shore of Jonesy Lake and back through Thunder Canyon.
At the head of the canyon (where the entrance to Cave 452 is), head over the log to the north and down the embankment towards where you found the power lines on Day 02.
Hike up to Beartooth Point, then down the other side of the rocks (where you headed to find Brian’s backpack earlier in the summer). Once you drop down from the long drop, head to the right (North) towards the NFS supply drop area.
Take the right fork in the path and follow the trail until you reach the manually-operated cable car. Get into the car to leave the Two Forks region and head for Delilah’s tower.
After getting off the cable car, head up the path and take the stairs up into the Thoroughfare tower. Put on the large radio headset and talk to Delilah until your evacuation arrives.
Leave the tower and make your way down to the landing area, then take the NFS ranger’s hand and board the helicopter. Credits also include photos we took with found camera (which most likely can be found during Day 2 walkthrough) and few photos of Brian Goodwin.
