According to the Chronicle of Jan Długosz, the exact date of the battle was 26 February 1290; however, 26 February 1289 seems a more likely date, and is given by other sources. His death had a very vivid description, thanks to the Nagrobków książąt śląskich and the Kroniki książąt polskich.
Přemek I, Duke of Opava' (or Przemko I) (Czech: Přemysl I. Opavský; German: Přemysl I. von Troppau; c. 1365 – 28 September 1433) was a member of the Opava branch of the Bohemian Přemyslid dynasty. He was Duke of Opava from 1367 until his death and Głubczyce from 1394 until his death.

Przemko II died unmarried and childless on 17 February 1493. He was buried in the St. Othmar church in Mödling. A red marble grave plate can still be found on the northern wall.
