     Basically you already have all your answer in the text you copied from the docs ;)

     To rephrase it: The geo-recovery feature brings you first and foremost one thing: Clients do not need to change their connection string when you fail over your Event Hub from one region to another. The DNS name under the hood resolves now to the new region and all access polices (credentials) are also valid in the second region.

     However, data that was already sent to the primary region is not available in the second region when you fail over. The secondary Event Hub is "empty" in that sense when clients start sending data to it after you fail over.

     Has anybody idea how could I get this connection, so I would have the whole deployment automated?

     For now, Azure CLI 2.0 not support Event hub.

     You can use Azure PowerShell command Get-AzureRmEventHubAuthorizationRule to do it.

     Due to pricing calculator limitations, you cannot exceed more than 999. You can do manual calculation according to your requirement as mentioned below.

     Note: Ingress events are calculated €0.024 per million events.

     For three billion events it will be 3000 million is approximately €0.024x3000= €72 + through put.

     An ingress event is a unit of data 64 KB or less. Each one is a billable event. Larger messages are billed in multiples of 64 KB. For example, 8 KB is billed as one event, but a 96 KB message is billed as two events.

     Events consumed from an event hub, as well as management operations and "control calls" such as checkpoints, are not counted as billable ingress events, but accrue to the throughput unit allowance.

     A fields gateway is simply an aggregation point for a range of in-place sensors. Many low powered / basic devices do not have enough capacity to run secured HTTP sessions so in these cases there will typically be a gateway to which these devices send their data. The gateway can aggregate / store and then forward the data securely onto Azure Event Hubs.

     To answer your question: it isn't a device-side SDK.

     I have also implemented same type of event grid through azure portal. I followed three steps.

     • Create Azure Storage Topic :- That is Event Grid System Topic
     • Event Subscription and Filter :- in this step, there are two main pointa. Event type :- Tell when event trigger for example create blob (when file is uploaded in blob) or delete blob.b. End Point Type:- Which subscribe the event like azure function. At this point give information about azure function.
     • Handle Event with AzureFunction :- Write Code for handle event or action after event fire.

     By this, you can start your journey in azure and then you can figure it out that how can do by without azure portal. But for custom event grid also you need to create event grid topic.
