Atlan's Armor is a battle suit formerly worn by Atlan, the former King of Atlantis and currently worn by Atlantis's current king, Aquaman. Atlan wore this suit throughout his life, until his exile and death in the Hidden Sea after causing Atlantis to sink.
His skeleton held the trident ever since, which was guarded by the Karathen. Millennia later, Arthur Curry, a distant descendent of Atlan, followed the leads left by his ancestor and obtained the trident, becoming the true King of Atlantis, accepting the name of Aquaman.
After a brutal fight, Aquaman freed Mera and the rest of the citizens of Xebel but they sided with the Dead King recognizing him as the true ruler of Atlantis, except for Mera. They managed to escape to Atlantis but found it being attacked by Scavenger 's Fleet.
