Nov 6, 2020 · The tub was tweaked prior to me owning it - the PO had hit a deer, causing the typical rocker/quarter panel wrinkle. I have been working it over, but ran across the tub on Marketplace for a reasonable price. Rather than continuing to rework the sheetmetal, it would be simplest to just tub swap it.
Apr 29, 2009 · TJ Tubs will bolt right on to any frame, but there are some difference in how stuff mounts between the tubs. Most noteably would be the heater setup. They changed the firewall I believe in 2000 so that the heater setup fits differently and they don't line up correctly.

Nov 22, 2008 · The TJ isn't being produced anymore, so there is not much chance of a company putting money into development of a kit to stretch a TJ, but you could always buy a TJ tub from a yard and do it yourself. Tubs are pretty cheap around here. I'd like it if AEV came out with a kit to stretch a 2-door JK.

Jan 22, 2009 · Why don't you just use a tj body on a tj frame? That would be easiest, unless you just have a tj frame and a cj body laying around.
