5 days ago · The following chart comprises the consensus 2012 NFL Draft Prospect Rankings. These rankings are a compilation of well-known big boards, including Mel Kiper’s, Scouts Inc.’s and CBS’. The number on the left represents the average ranking.
- Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford. Andrew Luck didn’t throw at the Combine, but his athleticism was terrific. He essentially posted the same 40, broad jump and vertical leap as Cam Newton.
- Washington Redskins: Robert Griffin, QB, Baylor. The Redskins will be a playoff-caliber team over the next 10 years because of this trade. They did not give up too much.
- Minnesota Vikings: Matt Kalil, OT, USC. This really is as much of a no-brainer as Andrew Luck to the Colts and Robert Griffin to the Redskins. Or at least it should be.
- Cleveland Browns: Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama. There appear to be four options here: Justin Blackmon, Morris Claiborne, Trent Richardson and Ryan Tannehill.
