Albert III (German: Albrecht III.) (9 November 1414 – 11 March 1486) was Elector of Brandenburg from 1471 until his death, the third from the House of Hohenzollern. A member of the Order of the Swan, he received the cognomen Achilles because of his knightly qualities and virtues.

Albert III (died 1199), also known as Albert the Rich, was Count of Habsburg and a progenitor of the royal House of Habsburg. He was the son of Count Werner II of Habsburg, whom he succeeded in 1167. Albert married Ida, daughter of Count Rudolph of Pfullendorf. Like his father he was a loyal supporter of the Imperial House of Hohenstaufen.
