Alburg Vermont is a town in Grand Isle County, in the "Islands & Farms" region, located in the northwestern corner of Vermont. The town was founded in 1781 by Ira Allen, one of the founders of Vermont & leaders of the Green Mountain Boys, and Ethan Allen's brother. Allen designed the Great Seal of Vermont, and the seal of the University of Vermont.
