  4. Arnie Herber was a Green Bay native who joined the Packers in 1930 and became pro football's first great long-ball passer. He led the league in passing in three of the first five seasons and threw for more than 1,000 yards in a season in 1936. He also played as a halfback and was part of the famous Herber-to-Hutson combination. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1966 and the Packers All-Time Team in 1946, '57.
