Arcangelo held off favorite Forte to win the 155th running of the Belmont Stakes, in the process making Jena Antonucci the first female trainer to win a Triple Crown race. The 47-year-old trainer from South Florida made history with her horse, who was also the first to win at 7-1 odds. Forte, the Preakness Stakes winner, was second, while National Treasure, the Kentucky Derby winner, was third.
