Bio. Dr. David A. Handelman is a senior staff roboticist and project manager. His research focuses on bio-inspired robot skill acquisition, dexterous manipulation, and adaptive human–robot teaming based on the integration of declarative and reflexive machine knowledge and learning.
He has more than 30 years of experience in robotics and autonomy research. His interests include robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), dexterous manipulation, and human-machine teaming. Contact David Handelman at david.handelman@jhuapl.edu.
