Donald Francis Michael Hastings (born April 1, 1934) is an American actor, singer, and writer best known for his 50-year role as Dr. Robert "Bob" Hughes on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns.
Don Hastings is best known for his roles as "The Video Ranger" in Captain Video and His Video Rangers (1949) and "Dr. Bob Hughes" in As the World Turns (1956-2010). He also appeared in many other TV shows, movies, and Broadway plays, and wrote for Guiding Light and As the World Turns.
