Microids was created in April 1985, in the Paris region, by its current deputy CEO: Elliot Grassiano. The company rapidly gained popularity on the French market and around the world, with its PC games , like 500cc Grand Prix and Super Ski. It has gone from strength to strength ever since.
Microïds was a game development studio founded in 1985 by Elliot Grassiano. In 1995 in addition to development it expanded into publishing and distribution. Some of the best sellers in the company's large games library were primarily in the adventure genre: Amerzone, Syberia I and II, Still Life and Obscure.
