The Band. Along with CREAM and LED ZEPPELIN, FREE stands as one of the most influential bands of the late 1960’s British blues boom. Formed in London during the spring of 1968, Free ‘s original lineup included drummer Simon Kirke, bassist Andy Fraser, lead vocalist Paul Rodgers and guitarist Paul Kossoff.
Free's discography consists of six studio albums, two live albums, 18 compilation albums, one EP, 16 singles and two video albums. The band released their debut album Tons of Sobs in 1969. [1] The album entered the US Billboard 200 chart at number 197. [2]
