A FuncoLand outlet was opened in a super Kmart store, and Funco joined with Supercenter Entertainment Corp. in Dallas to test the used movie market. In a Corporate Report by Kelly O'Hara, Pomije predicted a video game industry comeback saying the cyclical industry was moving out of the transition period from the old to new technology.
Jul 3, 2018 · As a kid in Minnesota, the existence of FuncoLand was the most amazing thing ever, because as a kid who only got games on my birthday and Christmas, they exposed me to a wider world oh possible games. I used to study those flyers religiously. None of their competitors never felt the same and their eventual absorption into Gamestop was a real shame.
