As a young wife and mother who is at the mercy of her abusive husband, Ms. Martin takes a complex role and does an incredible job with it. The actors who play her parents are especially exceptional, and the scene where Ms. Martin tells off her father is a very powerful scene. Definitely an above average TV movie.
