Jon Kabat-Zinn (born Jon Kabat, June 5, 1944) is an American professor emeritus of medicine and the creator of the 'Stress Reduction Clinic' and the 'Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society' at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Jon Kabat-Zinn is a professor emeritus of medicine and the founder of the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Memorial Health. He is the author of 15 books on mindfulness, including Mindfulness Meditation for Pain Relief and Full Catastrophe Living, and a leader of online and in-person retreats.
