Often known as Lakehead U or LU, it has campuses in Thunder Bay (7,900 students) and Orillia, Ontario, which is 150km from Toronto (1,400 students). Non-denominational and provincially supported, it offers undergraduate programmes, graduate programmes, as well as a three-year law degree through the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law.
