Bowling for Razzberries is a Season 1 episode of Laverne & Shirley.

The episode begins at the brewery, where Laverne and Shirley are planning lunch but can't agree on where to eat it. Laverne wants to eat it outside because the cold is "invigorating" and works up an appetite and she wants to watch the truckers, but Shirley thinks the cold air is too cold and the truckers are mean to her. Laverne then tries to go off to eat her lunch outside alone and Shirley wonders if the reason Laverne is being so insistent is because she doesn't want to be near a rude woman named Karen, who she hates.

As if on cue, Karen then enters and insults Laverne for her job. Laverne nearly throws ketchup on Karen, but Shirley holds her arm back and, when Karen is gone, suggests that if Laverne wants to humiliate Karen, she should do it diplomatically by beating her at a bowling competition. Laverne agrees, but says that she will blow a raspberry at Karen upon victory.

Some time later, at a restaurant, Laverne, Shirley, and several other women have just practised their bowling, but Laverne tells them that they are poor players-- one bounces her ball and one keeps leaving hers behind.

They leave to practice some more and Shirley notes that Laverne didn't criticise her bowling. Laverne says that this is because whenever she had in the past, Shirley would overreact. Shirley promises she won't overreact, but instantly quits the team after being told she takes too many steps. They then begin arguing about whether nine steps is too many and Laverne suddenly starts sneezing.

Shirley asks Laverne if she's all right and Laverne says that she is fine; it's just "a little chilly in here". Shirley says that it's a thousand degrees and checks Laverne's temperature. Shirley then reckons Laverne has a fever and tells her not to go to the bowling tournament or she will get a lethal case of pneumonia. Laverne insists that she is not sick. Lenny and Squiggy then enter, with a bowling ball stuck to Lenny, and talk about the bowling tournament.

At home the next morning, Carmine Ragusa enters and Shirley tells him that Laverne is "a very sick girl". Carmine notes that Laverne doesn't look sick, but Laverne sneezes and Shirley says, "See there? She's sick." Carmine promises that he will try his best, but Laverne still thinks he's incompetent. He then leaves.
